Job Description: Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in liaising with our construction and maintenance teams to ensure seamless coordination and efficient operation of logistics activities.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate transportation, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles to various construction and maintenance sites.
• Collaborate with construction and maintenance teams to plan and organize logistics activities according to project requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies.
• Oversee the maintenance and servicing of logistics equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and enhance efficiency.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and negotiate favorable terms.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including inventory levels, transportation schedules, and expenses.
• Address any issues or concerns related to logistics operations and implement corrective measures as necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the construction or maintenance industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to logistics operations is desirable.
